Do the math
A decent prompt pack costs less than one therapy session. If it saves you even two hours of admin a month, it has paid for itself many times over. Your hourly rate is the yardstick. Measure everything against it.
What you are actually buying
Not words. Workflows. A good pack gives you tested sequences for real tasks: intake, billing, policies, marketing. Each one was run, refined, and written for your profession. That testing is the product.
Three questions that reveal a bad pack
- Was it built for my profession, or find-and-replaced? If the same pack sells to realtors with the nouns swapped, pass.
- Were the prompts actually tested? Bulk-generated filler reads like Mad Libs. Tested prompts reference your real tools and rules.
- Does it say what it is not? An honest pack states its boundaries: not clinical advice, not legal advice. Hype with no limits is a red flag.
When to skip
If you love tinkering and only need two or three prompts, write your own with the formula in our prompting guide. A pack is for people who want the shortcut, not the hobby.
Questions, answered
Can I not just find free prompts online?
You can. Free prompts are single tricks. A pack is a system: organized, tested, and built for your workflows. Try our 7 free prompts and feel the difference.
How fast will I see the value?
The first evening. Run three prompts on real admin tasks and compare the time against doing them by hand.
What if it does not help my practice?
Then it was the wrong pack, and the seller should have helped you see that before you bought. Read the edition comparison before you spend anything.
